The 3Cs Initiative

The 3Cs is an initiative set up in conjunction with the Supporters’ Trust and Lincoln City Football Club to enable supporters to give feedback to the Club.

How many times have you sat at a game and asked yourself why isn’t something done about that, or why is that as it is? The 3Cs gives you, the fans the chance to have your say and voice these questions to the Supporters’ Trust or the Football club.

The 3Cs, which stands for comments, compliments and complaints, has now been running now for four years and has been an immense success. In its first year it was commended by the Independent Football Commission as a best working practice.

Comment - a remark, observation, or criticism

Compliment - an expression of praise, commendation, or admiration

Complaint - an expression of discontent, regret, pain, censure, resentment, or grief; lament; faultfinding

To submit a 3C please use the Feedback Form or e-mail the Supporters Trust direct.

Since its beginnings the 3Cs has dealt with many and various issues ranging from ticket pricing, catering facilities, match day policing and stewarding and toilet facilities. The only thing the 3Cs does not deal with is matters that deal with the playing side of the Football Club.

The 3Cs works in the following way. The initial contact is made with the 3Cs co-ordinator, who logs the 3C then forwards the issue onto the Football Club’s Chief Executive. The Chief Executive will look into the issue and carry out a full investigation. Once the investigation is complete the Chief Executive will reply to the 3Cs co-ordinator with his findings for the co-ordinator to pass this back to the person raising the issue.

Upon his findings the Chief Executive will take on board the outcome and implement any changes that need to be made to ensure the matter is put right.

So next time your at Sincil and you see a broken seat, or your half time cuppa is only lukewarm, don’t just complain about it to the person sat next to you, complain about it to the 3Cs co-ordinator.

However don’t just use the 3Cs for complaints. There is an old saying "If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it" but we also need to hear your compliments and anything else you may want to comment on. There are occasions when the Supporters’ Trust and the Football Club do get things right. We need to hear when this happens so these matters are left in place and Sincil Bank can be an enjoyable place for everyone.
