FSF NO TO GAM£ 39

Campaign Meeting & Rally
Hillsborough Working Mens’ Club - Thursday 21st Feb, 7pm

The Premier League have announced proposals to play an extra round of fixtures - GAM£ 39 - in whichever foreign country is prepared to pay most for the privilege. Within minutes of the announcement, the Football Supporters’ Federation was swamped with reaction from angry fans, incensed at the Premier League’s latest snub for supporters as they try to squeeze ever more money from the game of football.

Many fans have asked the FSF to help organise marches, boycotts and other publicity stunts so that the people that run football at the top level are left in no doubt as to the strength of feeling on this issue. The FSF has the will to help fans protest against this outrageous idea.
Come to the meeting:

• Discuss all the football issues which directly affect YOU, including what you want to do to fight GAM£ 39.

• Run by the fans, for the fans, by the FSF- the organisation representing 150,000 football supporters in England & Wales. 130 supporters’
Trusts, Clubs and Associations affiliated.

• All football supporters welcome. Time to unite! “Soon you will have in England no English presidents, you already have no English coach, you have no English players and maybe now you will have no clubs playing in England. It’s a joke.” UEFA president Michel Platini

“Fans have to come first and you have to listen to their views on this.”
Prime Minister Gordon Brown.

“This proposal is disrespectful to home fans, foreign leagues, and football as a whole. If I want to watch Arsenal, I travel to London. I will never watch a Premiership game if this goes through.” Daniel Arancibia Santiago, Chile
