In partnership with local and national agencies, the Trust was the leading player in accessing grant funding to convert a disused gym under the Co-op Stand into a warm and welcoming Club House.
The Goal ran successfully during school holidays providing indoor and outdoor sporting, recreational and cultural activities. Trips were arranged to Man Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea. Other visits included bowling, golf, Xscape Ice Dome, Eureka and ice skating.
The Goal Club House
Disaster struck last summer when the Club House was flooded and the majority of the contents were lost.
BUT, we are rising from the flood water and a re-launch is planned for Easter. We now have the very latest in IT equipment and a new look Club Room.
