Supporters Direct organises many other events and meetings throughout the year, and we are pleased to announce the first Supporters Direct organised event of the year on Sunday 20th April 2008:
A Trust Development Event in Bradford. The event
is sponsored by the Co-operative Group and will have plenty to
interest new trust board members and old hands alike.
Registration starts at 10:30 and we will go straight into the
workshops. These will include important issues such as Induction for
trust board members, Secretaries Guidance, Dealing with the Media,
Chairing Skills, Values & Principles of Trusts, a discussion on
Supporters Direct model rules and a Co-operatives session.
The event will
close with a debate on some of the key issues of the day, and we are
delighted that we will be joined by the Minister for Sport and MP for
Bradford South, Gerry Sutcliffe MP, and Malcolm Clarke, the Chair of
The Football Supporters Federation and supporter representative to
the FA Council plus others. The event will be followed with informal
networking at the venue's cash bar.
