TRUST ELECTIONS UPDATE

In accordance with the Rules of the Society 3 of the elected board members have to retire in rotation and either step down from the Trust Board totally or seek re-election.

As has already been announced Rick Keracher and Roy Noble will be retiring this year prior to the AGM. The third member of the Trust Board to step down will be a well known figure to the City faithful. Yes it's "in the onion bag" Chris Ashton who will make up the third member of the Trust Board who retire in rotation as part of the democratic structure of the Trust.

The Trust can under their rules have up to 9 elected Board members and 6 co-opted. With the resignation of Alan Long earlier in the year there will be a total of 4 elected posts needing to be filled this year at the AGM.

Retiring Board members can seek re-election in the same way as new candidates can put themselves forward to be considered by the membership of the Trust. If you are interested in seeking election to the Trust Board full details will be posted on this website in due course and information will be sent out with the AGM calling notice.
