SUPPORTER TO RUN FOR CANCER RESEARCH UK & PETER JACKSON
Lincoln City supporter Matt "Chopper" Harris has put on his trainers and started training to compete in the Lincoln 10k Run.

His decision came after Imps Gaffer Peter Jackson revealed he was going into hospital to undergo treatement for throat cancer. Matt says his decision was easy "He's just made a massive impact on the football club, that before he took over, was rock bottom. I just wanted to give him a boost and really show that the fans are behind him at this difficult time."
Matt decided he would show his support by raising funds for the charity Cancer Research UK and is now in full time training for the big event. Why did he choose Cancer Research UK, Matt explains "Cancer Research UK was chosen, because it is a national charity, and as it shows by my donations, people from all over the Country have sponsored me. Including a player from Wycombe Wanderers."
Matt who is confident of pulling off a big surprise and actually win the race took a few moments out of his training regime to pass on this message for Jacko "Get well soon Jacko - the footballing world is behind you.. Keep the faith"
