Previous news items and the recent AGM mailing informed members that there were vacancies on the Trust Board which initiated an election process.
Three serving members of the Trust Board, Rick Keracher, Chris Ashton and Roy Noble stood down in accordance with the requirements of the Trust Rules. A fourth Board Member Alan Long resigned from the Board last year.
This meant that four vacancies had to be filled and should there be more than four nominations and election would be called. This would have been run by the Exeter City Supporters' Trust under an agreement between the two Trusts.
Only four nominations were received by the closing date of 7th April and therefore there will be no election this year. The Society Secretary will announce the names of the successful candidates at the AGM on April 30th
A further three Trust Board Members will step down prior to the AGM in 2009 in accordance with the Rules.
